Welcome to Caloundra City School
Caloundra City School is an exciting, safe, happy and innovative learning environment for students of all ages – from babies in the nursery of Pelican’s Nest all the way through to senior secondary school.
We provide the very best teaching and learning environment, programs and facilities. We are committed to supporting, extending and challenging our students to achieve to their personal best in academic, sporting, cultural and community commitments. Development of higher order thinking skills, combined with critical skills in literacy, numeracy, and problem solving feature in every year level of the school.
The focus of our attention is on the growth and development of the individual student. Each child is unique and we encourage each child to develop his or her natural talents, gifts and qualities, by providing them with every opportunity to excel individually and collectively through our differentiated curriculum, special projects and integrated projects. Our strong commitment to excellence is reflected in our School Motto: ‘Excellence, Integrity, Learning’.

CCS is at the forefront of innovative education, with the integration of technology and the development of technological skills through students’ use of personal tablet laptop computers from Year 5 upwards. This exceptional one-on-one tablet computer program gives our students tremendous advantages and prepares them well for the future.
